LEAD PASTOR
Steven desires to walk humbly with His Lord and to love those around him. God has surrounded him with a wonderful wife and two energetic children. He has a love for making disciples through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. His sojourn with God has moved he and his family from Columbus, MS, to Tuscaloosa, AL, to Birmingham, AL, to Fort Worth, TX and are currently serving the Lord in Hattiesburg, MS.

Landon Roney
MINISTER OF MUSIC AND SENIOR ADULTS
Landon started serving in his first church in the spring of his senior year in high school, in 2002. From there, he has had the opportunity to serve in churches in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. Landon has been on staff at Providence since March of 2014. He met his wife Jessica while serving in her home church in Alvarado, TX and were married in August of 2010, and they now have three kids. He graduated from Louisanna College with a Bachelor of Music in Church Music.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Liz first came to Providence in 1995 with a friend and two years later she and that friend, David, were married at Providence and have enjoyed serving together over the years in many different capacities. They have served in various areas in the church including helping in the kitchen, teaching in the children's department, and serving on various committees. Liz, David, and their grandson Gentry are thankful to be a part of the family here at Providence. Liz is the church administrator and helps our ministers, Steven and Landon, with various tasks.

ERIC GIBSON
FACILITIES MANAGER
Eric serves as a deacon, as he has a heart to serve others.
He has been a member of Providence Baptist Church for over 40 years and just recently celebrated his 15 year anniversary on staff.
